Effect of Extrinsic Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance

This research aims to know the effect of extrinsic motivation and compensation on employee performance at a retail company in Bandung. study also analyze most dominant factor between performance. method uses descriptive verification methods. Researchers obtained data information that would support this by taking object as many 40 employees using questionnaire aimed employees.
 Based study's path analysis results, variable has direct 24%, an indirect through relationship with 19.5%, total 43.5%. The 23.5% 43.0%. results correlation coefficient determination expressed percentages describe magnitude contribution all independent variables, namely compensation, determining variable, which is 0.865 or 86.5%. In contrast, other factors do not affect examined are shown value ? = 0.135 13, 5%. conclusions suggestions considered connection results; namely, management should be able maintain increase improve performance.
